Christoffer Naess, a Swedish producer, and filmmaker is well known for his short drama-documentary Magnus – A Spring Day. He also directed and produced a short documentary called This is Kabul, for which he won the Bergen International Film Award.
Biography of Christoffer Naess
Christoffer was born in the Swedish city of Gothenburg in the year 1968. Furthermore, he is of German and Norwegian ancestry. Likewise, Arne Naess Jr., the award-winning producer’s father, was married to Filippa Kumlin D’Orey, a Swedish designer, in 1966. Moreover, Their wedding took place in Oslo, Norway, at the “Solstua” location.
However, after eighteen years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce. Also, Their divorce was finalized by the court in mid-1982. They also had three children from their marriage: a boy, Christoffer, and two daughters, Katinka and Leona Naess, a singer-songwriter.

From April 2012 to August 2014, Christoffer Naess served as a producer for the Urban Contemporary Art.
Naess is now working on a project called Global Video Letters, which focuses on human rights themes and encourages people to get involved in their communities. Since January 2013, he has focused his efforts on producing personal, participatory documentaries with Munin Film.

In 2013, Naess made his debut with Magnus – A Spring Day, a Norwegian short drama-documentary. He received an Amanda Award and a Greenpoint Film Award for best short documentary for his efforts.
Christoffer directed This Is Kabul, a short drama-documentary film in which he collaborated with Nargis Azaryun, Sadaf Fetrat, and Sahar Fetrat, among others. In 2017, he worked as an executive producer on The Red Thread, a biographical documentary.
