The couple had just exited the Shell Station, which was situated near the Aertex & Ella intersection, when a white four-door automobile with tinted windows and a paper plate drove up next them and fired numerous rounds into their car, as reported by the police.
After firing their weapons, the assailants ran away from the site. According to the victim who managed to escape injury, they did not get into any kind of confrontation with the persons who were driving the white automobile. According to KTRK, Hernandez passed away the day before her baby shower, which was set to celebrate the arrival of the family’s first grandchild as well as their first nephew. Additionally, the family has established a memorial fund on GoFundMe in Jennifer’s name.
