Bianca Vanessa Andreescu is a Canadian professional tennis player who reached a career-high single ranking No five by the Women Tennis Association (WTA). The star became the first Canadian born in 200 to win a grand slam singles title after defeating Serena Williams in the US Open in the 2019 final. Defeated.

Sigouin further decided to play in the NCAA before turning pro, due to which they had to move to a different city. Allegedly due to long-distance he vastly different schedules, both were not seen together like they used to do in the past. Later, they unfollowed each other on social media.

While Ben continues to focus on his career and life at UNC, Bianca has a full plate after entering the WTA circuit, going pro, brand deals, and keeping up her intense workout regime.

Bianca was born on June 17, 2000, to father Nicu Andreescu and mother Maria Andreescu. After graduating from Transilvania, the young tennis player moved to Canada after Nicu accepted an engineering job.

Andreescu’s family has a dog named ‘Coco.’ She is their new member of the family after the death of their previous Dog, a white pup named Jessica, who passed away in 2018.

Andreescu further has a net worth of $6 million. She makes the amount from her career as a tennis player. After turning professional two years ago, Andreescu earned $2,417,873 as prize money from winning the US Open. The winner of the US Open takes home a fortune of $3.85 million.

Bianca secured a semifinal spot at Flushing Meadows; she was guaranteed to take $960,000 (£782,000).

Many tennis players also boost their income through sponsorship deals, and Andreescu is no different. Apart from prize money, the 19-year-old signed an agreement with BMW Canada earlier this year, adding to her existing partnerships with Nike and Head.

The playas started playing tennis in Pitesti at 11, under Gabriel Krista, when her family moved back to her parent’s native Romania. A few years later, 19 years old returned to Canada, where she trained at the Ontario Racquet Club in Mississauga.

Andreescu further joined Tennis Canada’s National Training Program in Toronto and started getting more serious about her career from the age of 11. She got advised and encouraged by her Halep to turn professional.

Professional Career Of Bianca Andreescu

Bianca won her first WTA title at Newport beach in January of 2019. The win took her to a career-high ranking of no 68 when she passed Eugenie Bouchard to become a Canadian, top-ranked player. The 19-year-old won her first WTA tour title by defeating Elina Svitolina in the semi and Angelique Kerber in the semifinal in the finals, vaulting no 24 to her name.

In the US Open, she later defeated Belinda Bensic in straight sets to reach her maiden Grand slam final, where she faced Serena Williams for a chance to her maiden Grand slam.  

Bianca surprisingly defeated Williams in the straight and set to become the only Canadian to win the grand slam title. Also, the first woman to win the title in her debut and the first player to be born in the 2000s. The win propelled her to no five positions in the WTA ranking.
